Rashmi Barve has no relief from the Supreme Court! Petition against rejection of candidature rejected leader









New Delhi, Leading News Service: Congress candidate Rashmi Barve's candidature from Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency was rejected on the grounds of caste certificate. His caste certificate was canceled by the Caste Verification Committee. He had approached the High Court against this. However, as he did not get relief from the High Court, he filed a petition in this regard in the Supreme Court. Like the High Court, the Supreme Court also said that it will not interfere in the election process. Therefore, Rashmi Barve did not get relief even from the Supreme Court.

On behalf of the Congress party, Rashmi Barve was announced as a candidate from Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency. Rashmi Barve's caste certificate was canceled after filing her candidature. Therefore, his application was rejected. After that, he approached the High Court against this. However, the High Court had said that it would not interfere in the election process. Later, Rashmi Barve approached the Supreme Court. But now they have not got relief even from the Supreme Court. After the rejection of Rashmi Barve's candidature, her husband Shamkumar Barve is in the fray.

While hearing Rashmi Barve's plea, the Supreme Court made important oral observations and pulled the trigger on the state government. While recording the oral observation, the Supreme Court addressed the state government and said that the promptness shown by you in this matter is not shown at other times. As the election process is going on now, we cannot interfere in the matter.” While making this observation, the Supreme Court told Advocate General Tushar Mehta, who was appearing for the state government, “You should inform the government that what is being done by the government is not right.” Although the Supreme Court rebuked the state government while recording oral observations, Rashmi Barve now has no choice.
