Leader Online Desk : Rameshwaram Cafe Blast Case : The NIA has announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh for information on the attacker in the Rameswaram cafe blast case in Bangalore. The identity of the person reporting the attacker will be kept confidential. At least 10 people were injured in the March 1 blast at Rameswaram Cafe in East Bangalore's Brookfield. The investigation into the blast has been handed over to the NIA. A man wearing a cap, mask and glasses is the main suspect in the case and his whereabouts are still unknown.

After the explosion at the cafe on March 1, the police started investigating the incident. CCTV footage of the blast came to light. It shows a person asking for semolina idli. After this he left his bag near the counter and left without taking the order. CCTV footage posted outside the cafe shows the man running fast. In the footage, the man was seen wearing a cap and carrying a bag. He also wore a mask and goggles. After the investigation of this incident has been handed over to the NIA, the investigating agency has released the photo of the accused and appealed to provide information about him. No one has been arrested in this incident yet. Both Central Crime Branch and NIA are involved in the investigation in this case. The NIA took charge of the case following an order from the Home Ministry on Tuesday. Earlier, the Karnataka government had not handed over the investigation of the case to a central agency. Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara said that the city police is conducting the investigation strictly and speedily. After the blast, Rameswaram Cafe is closed and now it will open on March 8 only.

On March 1, there was an explosion at the Rameswaram Cafe in the afternoon. 10 people were seriously injured in this blast. As the investigation into the matter continues, CCTV footage reveals that a young man entered the cafe an hour before the blast. He stayed there for a few minutes and then left leaving a bag behind. The bag in which the timer was placed is believed to contain an IED. The accused had ordered an idli plate at the cafe, but the footage shows him leaving before taking his order.
