South superstar Rajinikanth recently gave an emotional speech for Amitabh Bachchan. He said that when Big B was going through a tough time, the entire Bollywood was laughing at him.
After 33 years, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth will be seen together in the film Vettaiyan. At the audio launch of this film, Rajinikanth said, 'When Amit ji was making films, he incurred huge losses. He was not even able to pay his watchman's salary. His Juhu house was put up for auction. The entire Bollywood was laughing at him.'
He further said, 'The world just waits for your downfall. In three years, Amit ji did all the ads, earned all the money from KBC and bought three houses back along with the Juhu house in the same street. This is really inspiring. He is 82 years old and works 10 hours a day.'
Rajinikanth said- Rajiv Gandhi and Amit ji were batchmates
Rajinikanth also said, 'Amit ji's father was a great writer. He could do anything with his power. But without the support of the family, Amit ji moved ahead in his career alone. Once he had a terrible accident. At that time Indira Gandhi had gone to a conference abroad. When she came to know about this accident, she immediately came to India. Only then did everyone know that Rajiv Gandhi and Amitabh ji had studied together.'
Through this post, Rajinikanth had told that he is going to work with Big B again after 33 years.
Big B will be seen in a Telugu film for the first time
In the film Vettaiyaan, Amitabh Bachchan is playing the character of a man named Satyadev. The name of Rajinikanth's character has not been revealed yet. Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Fasil are also in this film.
Let us tell you, Vettaiyaan is Big B's first Telugu film and Rajinikanth's 170th film. It will be released in theatres on October 10 on the occasion of Dussehra.
