Heavy rain
Leader Online Desk: Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Hyderabad. Due to rain, the wall of a house under construction collapsed on Tuesday evening. 7 people died under its debris. A 4-year-old boy is also among the dead.
Those killed in the wall collapse were migrant laborers who had come from Odisha and Chhattisgarh for work. Today (8th) morning, the rescue team personnel pulled out the bodies from the rubble.
Life has been disrupted due to the ongoing heavy rains in Hyderabad. Due to waterlogging in many parts of the city, the problem of traffic congestion has also to be faced. Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials said disaster response teams have been dispatched to water-logged areas, where they are working to drain the water and remove fallen trees.
