New Delhi; News Agency: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has filed his candidature for Lok Sabha elections from Wayanad constituency in Kerala. According to the affidavit submitted along with the application, it is clear that he has a total immovable and movable property of Rs 20.4 crore, which has increased by 28 per cent in the last five years. He has informed that Rahul does not have his own house and vehicle and 20 cases are pending against him.
Rahul Gandhi has total movable assets worth 9.24 crores and immovable assets worth 11.14 crores. According to income tax returns for the financial year 2022-23, he earned more than one crore rupees during this period. This figure is less than the previous four financial years and according to the income tax returns of the previous five years, it is clear that their annual income is more than Rs 1 crore. It is clear from the information in the affidavit that he has invested heavily in equity shares, mutual funds, gold bonds, PPF, shares. Meanwhile, though he informed that he has no house and no vehicle, two commercial buildings are registered in his name in Gurugram. His net worth is around nine crores and he also owns ancestral land in Mehrauli, Delhi.
