The sequel of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's film Pushpa, Pushpa 2: The Rule will be released in theaters on December 5. Advance booking of the film started at 12 midnight on 30 November. According to Sacknilk, more than 3 lakh tickets of 'Pushpa 2' have been sold in the first 24 hours of advance booking. The film has overtaken Shahrukh Khan's Pathan in pre-sales. Less than 2 lakh tickets of the film Pathan were sold on the first day in January 2023. Before Pushpa-2, the film Pathan was at the forefront in advance booking.
KGF Chapter 2 onwards in Hindi-dubbed version
Even in the Hindi-dubbed version, Pushpa 2 has overtaken KGF- 2. KGF- 2 sold 1.25 lakh tickets in Hindi-dubbed version on the first day in 2022. At the same time, 1.8 lakh tickets of Pushpa 2 have been sold in Hindi till noon on 1st December. This Yash starrer film had earned Rs 80 crore in pre-sale on the first day in all languages. In terms of earnings, KGF Chapter 2 is behind Rajamouli's Bahubali 2, which had earned Rs 90 crore in advance booking in 2017. At the same time, trade experts believe that Pushpa 2 can leave both these films behind in terms of earnings.
