The security forces had received information that some terrorists were hiding in this area. After that the search operation was started. Meanwhile, firing started in Muran area. The security personnel gave a befitting reply and killed one of the terrorists.
The Indian Army recently foiled an infiltration bid across the Line of Control (LoC) at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district. One terrorist was killed in this operation. An encounter took place in Pulwama district almost a week after the incident, Army sources said.
