Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Yoga Day in Kashmir









Srinagar, News Agency : Yoga can be a center of attraction for Kashmir. Even after the rains posed a challenge, the enthusiasm of many Lekkis of Kashmir for yoga did not die down. She remained firm on yoga. Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted here on Friday that this view of Kashmir is reassuring to the entire country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day in Srinagar, Kashmir. The program was scheduled at 6.30 am when Dal Sarovarkathi opened, but due to rain, it was eventually shifted to the SKICC (Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre) auditorium. It started at 8 am. About 50 people in the auditorium; Outside the auditorium, over 7,000 people including male and female students performed Vajrasana, Shashankasana, Setubandhasana and many complex postures with the Prime Minister.

Apart from this, the naval personnel on board the warship INS Vikramaditya, while the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force personnel performed yoga along the Pangong lake on the LAC (Line of Actual Control) bordering China in Ladakh. From the deserts of Rajasthan to the Himalayas in Sikkim, army personnel practiced yoga in sub-zero temperatures.
