Uttar Pradesh is the state with the highest number of Lok Sabha seats in the country. Uttar Pradesh has maximum 80 Lok Sabha seats. It is also said that the route of power of the country passes through Uttar Pradesh. In 2014, BJP won 71 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. But in 2019, this number decreased to 62 seats. This time, BJP will aim to get maximum number of seats in Uttar Pradesh as well. Meanwhile, this time in Uttar Pradesh Congress and Samajwadi Party will contest the election together through the BJP vs India Alliance while Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party will contest independently. BJP had promised to build a Ram temple. After fulfilling that promise, the BJP is expected to win more seats across the country, including Uttar Pradesh, than in the previous elections.
