Prime Minister Modi reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir









New Delhi, Leading News Service: Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed the officials at the security review meeting of Jammu and Kashmir to make full use of available resources and policies to combat terrorism. He has also ordered to be ready to face any challenges. (PM Narendra Modi)

Terrorist attacks have increased in Jammu and Kashmir for the past few days. This meeting was organized in this background. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other senior officials were present for this review meeting.

In the said meeting, the Prime Minister was informed about the ongoing campaign to fight against terrorism. The officials also apprised Modi about the policies being implemented for the security of Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, Modi told the defense officials that he should make full use of anti-terrorist capabilities and be prepared to face any potential threats. Modi has also held discussions with Home Minister Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha regarding deployment of security forces and thwarting of anti-terror operations.
