New Delhi; Leading News Service: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has defeated his rival Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by campaigning hard for the Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister has shown great energy by giving as many as 206 campaign meetings and 80 interviews to various media. It has been seen that Rahul Gandhi has held half the campaign meetings as compared to Modi.
Narendra Modi has held 206 meetings and road shows across the country in the two months he has for election campaign. Along with this, 80 interviews have been given to various media. Prime Minister Modi held his last campaign rally in Hoshiarpur, Punjab on Thursday. Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi Vadhera were star campaigners from Congress. However, these three could not match Modi.
Rahul Gandhi held 76 road shows and meetings. Priyanka Gandhi Vadhera held 28 meetings and 10 road shows. Akhilesh Yadav held 54 meetings, while Mayawati held only 21 meetings. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has held 31 meetings.
