Leader Online Desk: The first result of the Lok Sabha elections in the country has come out from Karnataka. Janata Dal Secular (JDS) leader Prajwal Revanna has been defeated. Congress candidate Shreyas Patel has won in Hasan Lok Sabha constituency.
After the completion of the 16th round, Congress candidate Shreyas Patel is leading by 41,782 votes against NDA candidate Prajwal Revanna. Shreyas got 6,12,448 votes, while Prajwal got 5,70,666 votes.
Former MP of Hassan Constituency and former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda's grandson Prajwal Revanna has been arrested in a sexual harassment case. Revanna has been remanded in police custody till June 6.
