New Delhi, Leading News Service: Praful Patel, who was recently elected to the Rajya Sabha, was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Vice President and Rajya Sabha Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhad on Saturday. The swearing-in ceremony of Praful Patel took place in Rajya Sabha Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhad's hall. Praful Patel is the first member elected to the Rajya Sabha from the Ajit Pawar faction.
6 MPs were elected to the Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra, except Praful Patel of NCP Ajit Pawar group, Ashok Chavan who was elected from BHAJK, Dr. Ajit Gopchade, Dr. Medha Kulkarni, Chandrakant Handore of Congress, Milind Deora of Shinde faction of Shiv Sena have already taken oath as Rajya Sabha members.
“Took oath as Rajya Sabha MP today in the presence of Vice President and Rajya Sabha Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhad. I am determined to remain dedicated to the upliftment of our great country and countrymen,” Praful Patel reacted after taking the oath.
