The 1997 film Koyla was a huge hit, in which Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri were in important roles. Pradeep Rawat played the role of Police Commissioner in this film. Now Pradeep Rawat has shared some interesting things related to film making. He has told that Shahrukh Khan used to smoke cigarettes continuously on the sets, while Hrithik Roshan was working as an assistant director at that time.
Recently, in an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Pradiv Rawat shared the film Koyla and some things related to it. He has told that Hrithik Roshan was the assistant director of the film Koyla. I remember Hrithik used to come to the room every evening to give the script to Johnny Lever. Let us tell you that the film was directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan.
Apart from Koyla, Hrithik Roshan was also the assistant director of Shahrukh's film King Uncle.
Pradeep further said, Rakesh ji is a very big hearted person, if any day passes without a party on the set, then understand that it is not Rakesh Roshan's film. He used to invite everyone to parties, where there was a lot of food and everything. Then everyone used to go to disco. Rakesh Roshan used to go to everyone's room and knock and call everyone.

Shahrukh Khan is a chain smoker
In the same interview, Pradeep while talking about Shahrukh Khan said, I was not very close to Shahrukh during the shooting, but he is a very good natured person. The one thing I remember is that I have not seen any other actor smoking as much as Shahrukh did. He would light one cigarette and then light a second and then a third from the same cigarette. He's a real chain smoker. But there is no limit to his dedication towards films.
