In 2047, the country will have completed 100 years of independence and the country will have reached the pinnacle of development as a developed India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed a ferocious optimism.

Question: In many speeches, you have been saying that 2024 elections is not my goal, my real goal is 2047. What will happen by 2047? Are these elections just a formality?
PM Modi: I think 2047 and 2024 should not be confused. Both are different matters. It was only when we were celebrating 75 years of independence as a country that I started raising this issue before people. In 2047 we will celebrate centenary of independence. That day will be a milestone. Such opportunities sow new resolutions in a person. I am also one of them. I think this is an opportunity. We want to travel from the 75th year of independence to the 100th year. We have a roadmap in our heads of how we as a government will make full use of these 25 years to fulfill the vision of a developed India. Every organization, every individual should set a goal for themselves. This is all I will do as a person. This is all we will do as an organization.
Now whatever the topic of 2024 is, it has come in this direction. I think elections should be taken seriously in a democracy. Elections are the grand festival of democracy. As sports competitions create a sporting spirit in the society, elections should create a spirit of development in the society.
Q: You always say, this is just a trailer. There is much more to come. What exactly is your vision and how will it be achieved by 2047?
Modi: I have many big plans in my mind. I have also taken many bold decisions for it. There is no reason to fear. My decisions are basically not to scare anyone, to oppress anyone. All-round development of the country, public welfare is the purpose behind it. I don't think that there should be a conflict in the country, a waste of time.
Not that I have achieved everything. However, it is moving in the right direction. The roadmap for the next period is in progress. The main thing is that this is not Modi's vision. It is not my inheritance. 15-20 lakh people's thoughts are in this vision.
Q: Your concept of Modi ki guarantee has become extremely popular. People say, they don't want to see candidates, they want to vote for Modi. Are such concepts important during elections?
Modi: Candidates are important in elections. Every voter is also important. A booth worker is also needed. The question remains about the popularity of the concept of Modi Ki Guarantee; So I can say that my commitment is in my word. Like others, I don't do Chalti Ka Naam Gadi or Kuch Bhi Bol Do.
A leader is currently saying that I will eradicate poverty in one fell swoop. Those who ruled for 5-6 decades now, if they are going to remove poverty in one stroke, then the people will also get a shock! Who will believe? A huge amount of work has been done on infrastructure for a developed India in the last 10 years. I say that skill development will have to be done in the next period.
Question: Earlier it was called Indira is India, India is Indira. Now it is said that Modi is India, India is Modi. Do you think you have reached that level?
PM Modi: I am a son of Mother India, like everyone else. I am serving Mother India. That is enough for me.
Question: Statements against Sanatan Dharma have come from Tamil Nadu. what do you say
PM Modi: You should ask Congress this question. Why are you with those people (Dravid Munnetra Kazhagam) who are raging against Sanatan Hinduism? Why are you so helpless? There is a wave of anger against the DMK and this wave is turning in a positive direction towards the BJP.
Q: Did you mediate to stop the Russia-Ukraine war?
PM Modi: I am friends with the presidents of both the countries. I took advantage of this friendship to evacuate Indians trapped in war-torn areas.
Question: Elon Musk is coming to India. They are also your fans. Starlink, Tesla factories will also come to India?
Modi: Musk is a fan of India and the remaining issue is to set up his factories in the country, we are moving in this direction to make India an industrial hub not only for Musk but for the entire world.
Question: Election blocking and corruption are being linked. How about that?
Prime Minister Modi: Donations are being given in advance to various political parties for elections. There is nothing new about it. On the contrary, we have provided a proper alternative for that. It is clear who gave the funds and how much. The bank has all the data. If there are any shortcomings, they will be removed. Those who oppose election bans will one day repent.
Q: There are allegations that central mechanisms are being used against the opposition. what about that
PM Modi: Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken 97 percent action against criminals and corrupt officials. Only 3 percent of the people ED took action against are politicians. I directly told all the central agencies that you should leave the defensive posture forever. What is the use if the central system seizes high amount of money from criminal elements. The agencies have taken action against drug traffickers. What not to do?
