Leaders Online Desk : PM Modi Oath Ceremony : The swearing-in ceremony of the 'NDA' cabinet will be held today, Sunday at 7.15 pm. The cabinet list of Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government has been finalized. Modi and Shah have sealed the list after discussing with the leaders of the committee appointed by the BJP to determine the names of the ministers in the cabinet.
Meanwhile, calls have started reaching potential ministers in the cabinet. However, nothing has been officially revealed yet. Sources say that Nitin Gadkari, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Jayant Choudhary, Chirag Paswan, JDU leader Ramnath Thakur and Anupriya Patel have been told over the phone that they want to take oath of the cabinet.
Chirag Paswan's party LJPR contested on five seats in Bihar and won all five seats. Chirag himself has won the election from Hajipur. After winning the election from Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari has once again reached the Parliament. Gadkari has been a minister for two consecutive terms in the Modi government. JDU MP Ramnath Thakur is a member of the Rajya Sabha.
Anupriya Patel's Apna Dal (Sonelal) contested on two seats, out of which Anupriya Patel managed to win only her seat. Jitan Ram Manjhi's party Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) won only one seat from NDA and he himself contested from this seat (Gaya). He reached the parliament victoriously. Jayant Chaudhary's party has won both the seats. Jayant Chaudhary himself is a Rajya Sabha MP.
Call to 2 MPs of TDP
Chandrasekhar Pannasami and Rammohan Naidu from TDP will take oath as ministers. Both have received calls from Rashtrapati Bhavan for swearing in today.
