Leaders Online Desk: The 17th installment of Shetkari Samman Yojana has been released today (18th). In a program held in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also distributed certificates to Krishi Sakhi women along with this installment.
After Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister for the third time, he started the work by signing the file of Shetkari Samman Yojana. An amount of around 20 thousand crore rupees of the 17th installment of this scheme was deposited in the accounts of 9 crore 26 lakh farmers today. Prime Minister also distributed certificates to more than 30,000 self-help group women who were trained as Krishi Sakhis.
The central government has so far deposited 16 installments of the Pradhan Mantri Shetkari Samman Yojana in the accounts of the beneficiary farmers. The 16th installment was transferred on 28 February 2024.
