Playing 'IPL' more rewarding than playing against Pakistan: Michael Vaughan

London; News Agency: The England Cricket Board (ECB) should not have recalled its players, it would have been more profitable if they had played in the 'IPL' rather than playing against Pakistan, former Test player and commentator Michael Vaughan has told the 'ECB'.

Many foreign players have pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and returned to their home countries to prepare for the 'ICC' T20 World Cup, with England in the majority. Because England wanted to play a T20I match with Pakistan before this World Cup. Vaughan made this statement in the background of the second match of the series being very one-sided.

Michael Vaughan said, I think the England board made a mistake by recalling all the players from the IPL. Will Jack, Phil Salt, Jos Buttler's team was in the IPL play-offs. They should have been allowed to play those matches. Because, then the pressure of people's expectations is very high. Rather than playing T20 matches against Pakistan, playing in 'IPL' would have at least prepared better from the perspective of T20 World Cup. I am not against international cricket; But there is a lot of pressure in 'IPL' and if the players had played in such conditions, their preparation would have been better. Especially if Will Jack and Phil Salt played in 'IPL', it would have been great.
