Mumbai Police has foiled another attempt to attack Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Navi Mumbai Police has arrested four people from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang who were planning to attack Salman's car in Panvel.
These four have been identified as Dhananjay alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nhai, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna and Zeeshan Khan alias Javed Khan. A case has been registered against all four under sections 115, 120 (B), 506 of the IPC. All four are members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In such a situation, the police have registered an FIR against 18 people including Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Goldie Brar.
Salman is currently in Europe. He has gone there to attend Anant-Radhika's second pre-wedding ceremony.
Salman left the country last Monday for the event. His nephew Nirvaan Khan has also accompanied him.
There was a plan to import many dangerous weapons including AK-47 from Pakistan
According to the police, these four were planning to procure weapons from suppliers in Pakistan for the attack. According to media reports, the attackers were trying to procure AK-47, M-16 and AK-92.
He had conducted a recce of the farm house and several shooting spots. The police have recovered several such videos from his mobile phone.
There was firing at the apartment on April 14
Earlier on April 14, firing was done in front of Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment in Bandra at 5 am. The attackers who came on two bikes fired 5 rounds. Salman was in his house at the time of the firing. After the incident, security was increased outside Salman's house.
Both attackers were seen in CCTV while firing.
After the firing at Salman's house, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde had come to meet him. Shinde had also met Salman's father Salim Khan.
Both the accused who opened fire were arrested two days later. Khan was threatened with death by the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldie Brar gang.
