Ranbir Kapoor has spoken for the first time about the controversy over his film Animal. Ranbir said that many people did not like my film. People even told me that they were disappointed to see me in such a film. However, now I am at that stage of life where I cannot argue with people. I told them that if you did not like the film then I am sorry for that, I will try to do better in future.
Ranbir said that he said yes to Animal because he wanted to step out of his good-boy image on screen.
Let us tell you, the film Animal released in 2023 had collected more than 900 crores worldwide. However, a section termed the film as anti-women. The film's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga also came under fire for this.

They called it anti-women. They forgot how much hard work people must have put in making it. Even many people told me that you should not have done this film. I was disappointed to see you in this type of film.

Ranbir apologized to those who did not like the film
Ranbir Kapoor said that those who did not like the film, they apologized to him and quietly left. He further said- Those who did not like the film, I said sorry, next time I will try to do better. It is not that I agreed with their words. It is just that I have reached such a point in life that now I do not like arguing with anyone. If someone does not like my work, then I express regret and leave.
Ranbir got scared after hearing the story of Animal
Ranbir told why he chose Animal? He said- In my career, I have always done such films which give a message to the society. When I heard the story of Animal for the first time, I was scared. I thought that this is completely opposite to my characters till now. To experiment with this image of mine, I said yes to the film.
