Leaders Online Desk: Young batsman Nitish Reddy's knock of 64 off 37 balls with the help of four fours and five sixes helped Sunrisers Hyderabad set Punjab Kings a target of 183 runs. In this match, Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first. This decision which was justified by Arshdeep Singh and the bowlers. But on the strength of Nitesh's 64 runs, Hyderabad scored 182 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. For Punjab, Arshdeep Singh took four wickets, while Sam Karan and Harshal Patel took two wickets each.
Hyderabad got off to a poor start against Punjab. Hyderabad lost three wickets on 39 runs at the start. Arshdeep Singh kept the Hyderabad batsmen in check from the start and Karan and Harshal did the rest. However, Nitish Reddy saved the team's innings and scored his first half-century in his career. He shared a 19-ball 50-run partnership for the sixth wicket with Abdul Samad. Samad also played a quick innings for Hyderabad and returned to the pavilion with 25 off 12 balls with five fours.
