Actress Parineeti Chopra told that she first met her husband Raghav Chadha during an award function in the UK. Before this she did not know anything about Raghav. When both of them met again the next day, within just 5 minutes of conversation they realized that she would marry Raghav. Parineeti told that this was probably the voice of God. After this both of them started meeting often.
Recently Parineeti was seen in the film Amar Singh Chamkila. In this film made under the direction of Imtiaz Ali, she shared the screen with Diljit Dosanjh.
Parineeti married Raghav Chadha on 24 September 2023.
Parineeti did not know anything about Raghav in the beginning
In a recent interview with Ram Shamani, Parineeti talked about her love life. He told that he and Raghav met for the first time at an award function in UK. In this award function, achievers in different fields were to be honored. In this function, Parineeti was honored for entertainment and Raghav for politics.
Parineeti further told that she was to meet Raghav for breakfast the next day. But before this she did not know anything about Raghav. Parineeti came to know about Raghav's work when she read about him on Google.
He further said- After this meeting, we started talking to each other and not even in a few weeks but within a few days, we realized that we had only been talking about getting married.
Parineeti- Mother used to say that one can feel the arrival of the right partner.
Parineeti also told that her mother used to say that she will know herself when the right person comes in her life. Although she did not believe in these things. He said- Mother always told me that you will know when your life partner comes in front of you. On this I used to say to my mother – Please, don't make me recite this film line. Nothing like this happens.
Now I swear that when I met Raghav, within 5 minutes I knew that I was going to marry this man.
Parineeti further said that that day at breakfast everyone was talking about different things but after seeing Raghav, I was thinking that I am going to marry this person.
He said- It was the voice of God inside me and then we started talking. We were not even friends at that time. We never had any official dating period because we never really dated, but were busy planning our wedding. We just thought about meeting each other's families.
