Parineeti Chopra is in the headlines these days because of the film 'Amar Singh Chamkila'. She has played the role of Amarjot Kaur in the film released on 12 April. 'I don't go to parties where roles are offered'

In an interview given to Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti talked about the less opportunities she got in her career and not getting the right roles due to wrong decisions. She said, 'I do not go to Bollywood parties, dinners and lunches where the possibility of getting work in films or roles are discussed. I want directors and producers to call me to give me work because I am ready to work hard. I won the National Award for the film 'Ishaqzaade' 10 years ago. I am still the same actress.

'Talent alone is not the criteria for getting work in Bollywood'

Parineeti also talked about campiness in Bollywood in the interview. He said, 'The criteria for getting work in Bollywood is not just acting or talent. You must belong to some camp. I was not in the right place at the right time. Paparazzi don't click me every day. My PR is very bad.

Parineeti further said that many talented artists are not able to reach the level where they should be because they are not socially active nor are they seen in any get together and glamorous events.

Parineeti said, 'I want to be the voice of such actors who are not part of any camp. Hopefully we will end the lobby system in Bollywood because I also want equal opportunities and work. I chose some wrong films but I am still the same actress as I was ten years ago. Now I am looking for the right platform.
