Pakistani musician Hania Aslam dies: suffered a heart attack at the age of just 35, worked with Rahman in 'Highway'

Pakistani musician Hania Aslam, who worked with A.R. Rahman in the film 'Highway', has died of a heart attack.

Hania breathed her last on August 11. Many Indian artists, including Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao and musician-director Swanand Kirkire, have mourned her death.

Haniya is also known for performing in the famous show Coke Studio.

Hania (right) and Zeb began their careers together in 2007.

According to media reports, Hania was only 35 years old. Her death was confirmed by her cousin sister Zeb Bangash through a post on social media. Hania was considered one of the best musicians of Pakistan.

Swanand Kirkire and Kiran Rao paid tribute
Swanand Kirkire mourned Hania's death. He shared a screenshot of his last conversation with Hania. Apart from this, he shared a photo and wrote, 'My dear Hania Aslam is no more. She had a heart attack and passed away last night.

Hania Aslam was born in Karachi. She started the 'Zeb and Hania Band' with cousin sister Zeb Bangash. Together they gave many successful songs.

In her career, Haniya has worked with some of the top Pakistani musicians, including Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman.
