Citing a Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) report, Dawn reported that severe weather in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa killed nearly two dozen people in a single day, taking the death toll to 59. According to a KP PDMA report released on Saturday, more than 50 people, including 33 children, 14 adults and 12 women, have died, while 72 people have been injured in rain-related incidents since April 12.
