YouTuber Bhuvan Bam's web series 'Taaja Khabar Season 2' has been streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from today. Apart from Bhuvan Bam, stars like Shriya Pilgaonkar, Javed Jaffrey, Deven Bhojani, Nitya Mathur, Prathamesh Parab, Mahesh Manjrekar have worked in this series. What is the story of the series?
The first season showed how a sanitation worker suddenly becomes rich. But money and power earned without hard work also has its own side effects. Vasant Gawde alias Vasya (Bhuvan Bam) wants to reduce sins by distributing money among the poor. But some sins are reduced only by taking blood. Vasya is murdered. But Yusuf Akhtar (Javed Jaffrey) comes to know that Vasya has not been murdered. He himself created the drama of his murder. He finds Vasya and asks him to pay Rs 500 crore in 2 weeks.
Vasya's love life is also going through ups and downs. How his girlfriend Madhu (Shriya Pilgaonkar), best friend Peter (Prathamesh Parab), bakery owner Mehboob Bhai (Deven Bhojani) help him in repaying the Rs 500 crore. And, what troubles arise during this period? The story of the series revolves around this.
How is the acting of the star cast?
The story of 'Taaja Khabar Season 2' mainly revolves around the characters of Vasant Gawde aka Vasya and Yusuf Akhtar. Javed Jaffrey has breathed life into the character of Yusuf Akhtar. Bhuvan Bam has also tried to do complete justice to his character. But Javed looked a little weak in front of Jaffrey. Shriya Pilgaonkar has played the emotional scenes well. Mahesh Manjrekar's character in the role of Kismat Bhai appears to be nothing more than a cameo. Deven Bhojani did not live up to the role of Mehboob Bhai. The director could not get the work done properly from a veteran actor like Deven Bhojani. Prathamesh Parab in the role of Peter keeps adding comedy in between. But his character also did not emerge completely.
How is the direction?
The miracle and magic between Vasya and his boon has been presented in this way by the series director Himank Gaur. Which does not connect. The entire story of this series is like a cocktail. The story of the series neither seems completely imaginary nor looks close to reality. This is the reason why the other characters of the series do not leave any impact. There is no such exciting moment in the series that keeps the audience engaged from beginning to end.
How is the music of the series?
Although there are 6 songs in this series, but apart from 'Hoke Majboor' and 'Paisa', there is no such song which is memorable. The background music of the film is normal.

There is no freshness in the name of the story in the latest news. Still, if you have free time and are a fan of Bhuvan Bam, then you can watch the series once.
