North Korea's rockets were fired…; Japan says 'this' is dangerous for the world









Seoul: Leader Online North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un's love for missiles is well known to the world. North Korea is always trying to show its strength to the world by testing some missiles. But now something has happened that has made Kim Jong Un infamous all over the world. North Korea's much-anticipated launch of a missile turned out to be a fluke.

The missile exploded

A rocket launched by North Korea to deploy a spy satellite into space exploded shortly after take off. This explosion is considered a big blow for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Kim was actually considering deploying this satellite to monitor the US and North Korea. But they did not succeed in this.

The timing of the launch was important

The failure of the North Korean missile comes as the leaders of South Korea, China and Japan meet in Seoul as part of the first trilateral meeting in more than four years. Such provocative action by North Korea is considered unusual. That too when its main ally China is holding high-level diplomatic talks in the region.

Criticism came from neighboring countries

The launch was criticized by North Korea's neighboring countries as the United Nations has banned North Korea from carrying out any such launch. North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency said it launched a spy satellite on a new rocket from the main Northwest Space Station. But the rocket exploded shortly after takeoff, suspected to be an engine failure.

Japanese Defense Minister Minoru Kihara called North Korea's launch a “serious challenge to the entire world”. North Korea had described the satellite launch as a provocative move and said it could pose a serious threat to regional security.
