Nora Fatehi got continuous rejections in the initial phase: She said – Yash Raj Films rejected me saying that I am not good, later the same films flopped.

Nora Fatehi recently talked about the challenges she faced in getting work. Nora said, 'Initially I had to face a lot of rejection, which was not at all easy for me. But even after this I never gave up and kept working hard. The result of this is that today I have achieved success.

Talking to Rajeev Masand at the Indian Festival of Melbourne, Nora said, 'I remember, I once went to audition for Yash Raj Films. I memorized my dialogues for weeks. I thought I gave a great audition. But he did not call me back and gave feedback saying that I was not that good. Hearing this, I broke my mobile phone in anger.

Nora said, there is a right time to get success. When that time comes all doors open. But if I try to open doors that are not meant for me, it will be of no use.

Nora said, the projects for which I was rejected. He was not very successful. When those films came, they flopped or were very bad. At that time I used to think, Oh God, did I cry for these films? I broke my phone? Perhaps that film could have ruined my career too, so now I have learned to leave it.

Nora said, when most people come into the industry they think that I have come from outside. How will it be managed? But I believe that it is very important to have confidence and dedication, so that your hard work forces them to think. After all, who is this girl, how is she so confident? Believe me, it proved to be very helpful for me.
