No more going 'here and there': Nitish Kumar's 'promise' to PM Modi | leader









Leader Online Desk : “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when you came to Bihar last time, I was not with you. Now I am with you once again. But now I assure you that I will not go here and there anymore. I will stay with you,” said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today (March 2) saying that he will not give political support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also accepted the 'promise' given by him with a big smile.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth Rs 34,800 crore in Aurangabad, Bihar today. Speaking at a public meeting held here, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “You have come to Bihar before. At that time I had disappeared; But I am with you now. I testify to you that I will no longer go here and there. I will stay with you.”

In the month of January, Nitish Kumar once again joined hands with the BJP, breaking the alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD and the Congress. After this, he took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record ninth time. This was Prime Minister Modi's first visit to Bihar after Nitish Kumar returned to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
