New Delhi, Leading News Service : Nitish Kumar : After the formation of the National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre, the National Executive of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's United Janata Dal Party will hold a meeting on June 29 in the capital Delhi.
The meeting, which will be chaired by Nitish Kumar, will discuss the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar and other issues. Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh, the leader of Samyukt Janata Dal, a constituent party of Raloa, is the Minister at the Center while Ram Nath Thakur is the Minister of State. Both these Union Ministers along with other leaders, ministers and officials of the Bihar Government will participate in the meeting.
An attempt to show dominance at the national level
The United Janata Dal has performed well in the Lok Sabha elections. After participating in the Raloa government, the United Janata Dal has called this meeting to show its dominance at the national level. Sources said that there is a possibility that a resolution will be tabled in this meeting by asking the central government to announce a special package for Bihar.
