A team of central agency NIA was attacked in Bhupatinagar of East Medinipur in Bengal. This time, the investigation agency's vehicle has been vandalized. While informing about the incident, the NIA said that the NIA team had entered for investigation on Saturday as per the directions of the Calcutta High Court. NIA officials had gone to Bhupatinagar to investigate the blast. While the NIA was arresting the two and taking them away, the villagers surrounded the NIA vehicle and attacked the vehicle demanding their release.
