New Delhi: Is BJP afraid of losing BMC elections? Congress question

New Delhi, Leading News Service: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Maharashtra to campaign for democratic elections. Meanwhile, the Congress party once again tried to surround Prime Minister Narendra Modi by asking some questions. The Prime Minister was on a visit to Nashik, Kalyan and Mumbai today (15th). Against this backdrop, the Congress, touching the intimate questions of Mumbaikars, lobbed questions at Prime Minister Modi. Meanwhile, Congress Media General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has asked some questions to the Prime Minister through X.

What are the Congress questions:

  • Why is BJP afraid of losing BMC elections?
  • Is the Prime Minister's nomination more important than the lives of Mumbaikars?
  • What is BJP's position on Mumbai's air pollution?
  • Why are Mumbai's local trains becoming overcrowded and unsafe?

Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been in the hands of administrators for over 18 months. This is the first time in its long history that an administrator has held such a long term without elected representatives. The repeated delay by the grand coalition government in holding the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections is an attack on democracy and the rights of the citizens of Mumbai. So is BJP afraid to take BMC elections? Jairam Ramesh attacked by asking such a provocative question.

Almost 7 people die every day in local Mumbai. Local trains, the lifeline of the city, are notorious for lack of safety and overcrowding at work. Yet last April, two major corridors in Mumbai – the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Panvel Elevated Fast Corridor and the Virar-Vasai-Panvel Suburban Railway were suddenly canceled by the central government. Why is the lifeline of Mumbai ignored by the Modi government? How many more Mumbaikars will die due to this inaction of the Prime Minister? Congress has also asked such a question. Congress also attacked the Prime Minister over Mumbai's pollution.

Even earlier, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a tour of various parts of Maharashtra, the Congress had criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi by asking him questions related to the problems in those parts. Today, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his visit to Maharashtra, once again Congress has asked some questions.
