NEET Row: Investigation team left for Delhi with burnt question paper









Leader Online Desk: There is nationwide outrage against the malpractice of the NEET-UG exam, which is required for medical admissions. The Bihar Police is currently searching for the mastermind of this case. Bihar Police claims that constable recruitment, teacher recruitment and NEET paper leak cases in Bihar are related. An investigation team of Bihar Police has left for Delhi with the burnt question paper and booklet number. Meanwhile, the investigating agency has briefed the NTA and Education Ministry officials about the entire case regarding the action taken so far.

The police seized the burnt question paper

The police have seized the burnt question paper and booklet number 6136488. This booklet is claimed to be from a center in Hazaribagh. The investigation so far has revealed that Sanjeev Mukhia, an employee of Noorsarai College, was the leader of the gang that leaked the paper.

The professor sent the question paper to Sanjeev on WhatsApp

The police have also intensified the search for Sanjeev Mukhia. It is alleged that a professor sent the question paper to Sanjeev on WhatsApp. The investigation also revealed that the help of medical students from Patna and Ranchi was taken. On the day of the NEET exam i.e. 5th May in the morning, it was sent to the mobile phone of Chintu alias Baldev from Karaipursurai along with the answer. After this, police investigation revealed that about 20-25 candidates, who were posted in a play school in Patna, were sent to memorize these questions.

Sanjeev Mukhiya absconded due to fear of arrest

The investigating agency has sent a notice to the Nalanda police and asked them to arrest Sanjeev Mukhia. Nalanda police raided Sanjeev Mukhia's house but he absconded. Apart from Sanjeev, the police are searching for Rakesh Ranjan, Chintu, Pintu, Ashutosh and many other accused in this case.
