NEET paper splitting case: Maharashtra 'ATS' takes two teachers into custody









Leader Online Desk: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained two teachers from Latur district late on Saturday night in connection with alleged malpractices in the NEET-UG examination. Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav and Jalil Umar Khan Pathan, who teach in a government school in Latur, have been arrested by a team of the Nanded unit of the ATS, reports said. By 'India Today' is given

We are committed to transparent and error free examination. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan clarified that a panel has been formed regarding the examination reforms, strict action has been taken against the officials and the matter has been handed over to the CBI.

Students have protested over the allegations of question paper leak in the NEET-UG exam and the grace marks awarded to more than 1,500 students. Later grace marks were removed. Also these students will be re-tested.
