The Election Commission had decided to give the symbol of the Nationalist Congress Party and its clock to the Ajit Pawar group. The NCP Sharad Pawar group approached the Supreme Court against it. A hearing on this matter was held in the Supreme Court on Thursday. The court ordered the Ajit Pawar group to give a written guarantee that Sharad Pawar's photo will not be used this time. The next hearing on the matter will be held on Tuesday (19). If you have decided not to live with Sharad Pawar, then why are you using his photo? The Supreme Court also gave clear instructions to the Ajit Pawar group that you should create your own identity, consider using your own separate election symbol and fight the election based on that. Senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi represented the Sharad Pawar group in the Supreme Court. After the election commission gave NCP party and clock symbol to Ajit Pawar group, the decision of the assembly speaker also came in favor of Ajit Pawar group. The Sharad Pawar group has approached the Supreme Court against this decision.

The court also warned the Ajit Pawar group that the time will come when we have to take away your watch as an election symbol. Ajit Pawar group's lawyers Mukul Rohatgi and Maninder Singh said that they will submit an affidavit to the court in two days that they will not use Sharad Pawar's name and photo.
