Controversy continues between Tamil actor Dhanush and Nayanthara regarding the documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale'. Recently, Dhanush sent a legal notice to Nayanthara and her husband and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan regarding the documentary. Dhanush alleges that Nayanthara has used songs and visuals from the film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in this documentary without his permission.

Now Nayanthara's lawyer Rahul Dhawan has reacted on this issue. The lawyer says that he has formally responded to Dhanush's legal notice. In which it has been said that no copyright law has been violated by the use of scenes.

Advocate Rahul further said – The behind the scenes used in the documentary are not from the film. That clip is from a personal library, so it is not an infringement.

The lawyer also said that the next hearing of this case can be held in Madras High Court on Monday.

Nayanthara had sought permission from Dhanush for the songs and visuals of his film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' for her documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale'. But Dhanush refused to allow them. Then after watching the trailer of the documentary, he sent a legal notice of Rs 10 crore to the actress on the charge of visual theft of just 3 seconds.

After this, Nayanthara wrote an open letter on social media and slammed Dhanush. He said- You have become a successful actor because of your father and brother. But I had no godfather in the film industry. However, I never thought you would stoop so low.

At the same time, after Nayanthara's open letter, Dhanush's lawyer had issued a statement, in which he had talked about taking legal action against Nayanthara. Also giving an ultimatum of 24 hours, it was said that if that footage was not removed from the documentary, then a compensation of Rs 10 crore would have to be paid.
