Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has revealed that he has been a victim of discrimination due to his colour and looks and people used to hate him considering him ugly. Nawaz said that he has faced discrimination in society due to his colour but he is thankful to the film industry where he did not have to face all this.

There was no discrimination in the industry

In an interview to News 18, Nawaz said, 'I don't know why some people hate him because of his looks. Maybe our face is like that – very ugly. We often think like this when we look at ourselves in the mirror. Then we say to ourselves, why did we come to the film industry with such an ugly face? Physically, I am the worst looking actor in this film industry. I believe this because I have been hearing this from the beginning and now I have also started feeling the same.'

Praising the film industry, Nawaz said, 'If you have even a little talent, the industry is ready to give you a lot. There is discrimination in society but not in the industry.'
