South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu's ex-husband Naga Chaitanya has got engaged to actress Shobhita Dhulipala. According to media reports, the two got engaged in a private ceremony at Naga Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna's house. Nagarjuna's house is located in Jubilee Hills, a posh area of Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna himself blessed them by sharing their engagement pictures on social media. He wrote on the social media platform X, 'I am very happy to announce the engagement of my son Naga Chaitanya to Shobhita Dhulipala. Both got engaged at 9.42 am. We welcome Shobhita to the family. Best wishes to both of them.'
Nagarjuna shared the engagement photo of Shobhita and Naga Chaitanya and congratulated both of them.
It is being said in the reports that Naga has taken a day's break from the shooting of his upcoming film 'Thandel' for the engagement. Naga Chaitanya's name started getting linked with Shobhita only after his divorce from Samantha. Both of them have been seen spending time together on many international trips.
Apart from this, Chaitanya was seen many times in the same hotel where Shobhita was staying for the promotion of her film 'Major'. Shobhita also celebrated her birthday in Hyderabad. Even after this, Naga and Shobhita were seen together on many occasions. Since then, speculations were being made that both of them are dating each other.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya got married on 6 October 2017 in Goa first according to Hindu rituals and then on 7 October according to Christian rituals. After marriage, Samantha had added Akkineni to her name, however, amid the news of separation, Samantha removed Akkineni from her Twitter handle and changed it to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. On October 6, 2021, the two were going to complete four years of marriage but they separated before that.
