'Munjya' earns 61.25 crores in 11 days: Collected 5.50 crores on working day, can do good business in the second week

Sharvari, Abhay and Mona Singh starrer 'Munjya' is continuously making good collections. The film has earned Rs 5 crore 50 lakh on its second Monday.

With this, the total collection of this film in 11 days has become 61 crore 25 lakh rupees. The film did good business in the first week also on working days.

If it continues to perform like this, it might soon cross the Rs 100 crore mark.

The overall occupancy on Monday was 28.88%
The overall occupancy of the film on Monday was 28.88%. Morning occupancy was 14.79%, afternoon 32.48%, evening shows had the highest occupancy of 35.60% and night shows had 32.64%.

Due to the Marathi background in the story, the film got 37% occupancy in Mumbai and 32% in Pune.

Supernatural comedy film 'Munjya' earned well in the second week on working days and then the film got an amazing response from the public in the second weekend as well. It earned 3.75 crores on the second Friday, 6.75 crores on the second Saturday and 8.75 crores on the second Sunday.

Overall, the collection of 'Munjya' is many times better than the collections of recently released films like 'Bhaiya Ji' and 'Saavi'.

Horror-film 'Munjya' has benefited a lot from word of mouth publicity.

The film is earning well without any star
Apart from the main cast, 'Munjya' also has an extended cameo by actor Sathyaraj who played Katappa in 'Bahubali'. It is directed by Aditya Sarpoddar.

It has been jointly produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan. This is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe after 'Stree', 'Roohi' and 'Bhediya'.
