'Munjaya' earned 4.21 crores on the first day: 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' earned 26 crores in 8 days, 'Srikanth' crossed 47 crores in the fourth week

The film 'Munjaya' which released on the box office this Friday has earned well on the first day. The film earned 4 crore 21 lakh rupees on Friday.

This supernatural comedy film had an occupancy of 21.49% on its opening day. Despite not having any big star, it has done a better opening day collection than many recently released films.

'Munjaya' is directed by Aditya Sarpoddar. It is jointly produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan. This is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe after 'Stree', 'Roohi' and 'Bhediya'.

There was a drop in the collection of 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' on the second Friday
On the other hand, the release of 'Munjaya' affected the earnings of 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' released last week. This film which collected 24 crore 89 lakh rupees in the first week, did a business of only 1 crore 31 lakh rupees on the second Friday. Now the total collection of this film has become 26 crore 20 lakh rupees.

This film has been jointly produced by Zee Studio and Karan Johar. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma who has previously worked with Janhvi on 'Gunjan Saxena'.

'Srikanth's earnings crossed 47 crores
While Rajkumar Rao's new release 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' is doing good collections, his film 'Shrikant' which was released on 10th May, earned 5 crores in the fourth week as well.

The film earned Rs 20 lakh on its fifth Friday. With this, after its fourth weekend, 'Srikanth' has earned Rs 47 crore 28 lakh.
