Mumbai Police had received a tip
An officer associated with the raid that took place at Hotel Sabalan Hookah Parlor in Fort area said that the police had received information that tobacco was being consumed in this hookah parlor. After this the police reached there to raid and took 13 people into custody. Munawar Farooqui was also included among these people.

9 hookah pots worth Rs 13,500 seized
Police raided this illegally running hookah parlor and seized Rs 4,400 in cash and 9 hookah pots worth Rs 13,500. A case has been registered under sections of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act.
