Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna made many revelations about the late superstar Raj Kumar in a recent interview. Khanna said that Raj Kumar had kept his cancer a secret from the film industry. He also wanted people to know about his death only after his funeral.

I had told my wife- no man should come when I die
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Khanna said, 'Raj Kumar had cancer but he did not tell anyone. His wife told me after his death that he wanted no one to know about his death.
He wanted that no one should come when he died. Even his last rites were performed without informing anyone.'
Apart from 'Jawab', both the actors were also seen together in films like 'Betaj Badshah' and 'Soudagar'.
Rajesh Khanna and Jitendra were called junior artists
In the same interview, while narrating another anecdote related to Rajkumar, Mukesh Khanna said, 'Once when he came to the set of the film, many actors including Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra were already present there. Seeing them together, Raj Kumar told the director that you have gathered a lot of junior artists.'
Although Raj Kumar made his Bollywood debut with the film 'Rangeeli' in 1952, he got real recognition with 'Mother India' released in 1957.
Raj Kumar died at the age of 69
