Preparations for Bollywood's most awaited film Ramayan are in full swing. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Shri Ram, while South actress Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Sita. Now during an interview, the casting director of the film Mukesh Chhabra has told that many actors had refused to play the role of Laxman opposite Ranbir.

Recently, casting director Mukesh Chhabra appeared on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast. In the conversation, he told that the most difficult thing was to cast Laxman in the film Ramayana. Mukesh Chhabra was looking for such an actor for the film, who, just by looking at him, can be guessed that he is in love with Lord Rama and follows him.

Mukesh Chhabra further said, the most auditions and names that came out were of Laxman. The last casting that happened was of Laxman.

Mukesh Chhabra did not reveal the name of the actor finalized for the role of Laxman, however he has hinted that the actor finalized for this role is a television actor. Mukesh Chhabra has said without naming anyone, even now when I think about it, I feel that no one could have been a better Laxman than him. I am very happy that all the people who were approached earlier, refused. Two-three people refused, so I thought it was good.
