Movie Review- Yodha: Screenplay and direction lacking, action sequences tremendous; The entire film is on the shoulders of Siddharth Malhotra.

Siddharth Malhotra's film Yoddha has been released today. The length of this action thriller film is 2 hours 13 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given the film a 3 star rating out of 5.

What is the story of the film?
The film starts with a plane hijack sequence. Task Force (Warrior) commander Arun Katiyal (Siddharth Malhotra) is also present in the plane. Arun Katiyal proves unsuccessful in controlling this plane hijack. Arun and his associates are suspended.

Task Force Yoddha is also discontinued. Arun gets devastated by this incident, the effect of which is visible in his personal life as well. The story progresses like this. Once again a plane is hijacked. Arun Katiyal is present in the plane this time also. Now he is again faced with the challenge of saving people. Will he be able to overcome this, the entire story focuses on this till the end.

How is the acting of the star cast?
After Shershaah, Siddharth Malhotra has once again proved himself in the role of an army officer. People will like his intense avatar. His action scenes are also strong. Raashi Khanna has done her job seriously in the role of Arun Katiyal's wife. Disha Patani and Sunny Hinduja have got less screen time, yet both of them have surprised everyone with their work.

How is the direction?
The duo of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha have together directed the film. Both of them have created suspense and entertainment factor in the film. The VFX and background score is better. Some sequences of the film seem a bit boring. There are a few characters who do not understand why they have been kept there. You will yawn at many places in the first half. The film seems to be gaining momentum in the second half.

How is the music?
B Praak's song 'Kismat Badal Di' and 'Tiranga' goes well with the sequence in the film. It was nice to hear these songs in the theatre. Since the genre of the film is such that the music in it has been kept thoughtfully.

Final Verdict, watch the movie or not?
The action sequences and Siddharth Malhotra's acting are the biggest positive points of the film. The screenplay and direction could have been better. If you are a fan of Siddharth Malhotra and want to see him in a new avatar then you can go for this film.
