John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh and Abhishek Banerjee starrer film 'Veda' has been released in theatres today. The length of this film is 2 hours 31 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given this film a rating of 2 stars out of 5.

What is the story of the film?

The story of the film is about Veda Barwa (Sharvari Wagh), a girl from a Dalit family living in Barmer, Rajasthan. Whose dream is to become a boxer. Army Major Abhimanyu Singh Kanwar (John Abraham) posted in Kashmir kills a terrorist despite being forbidden, due to which he is court-martialed. He comes to Barmer and becomes an assistant boxing coach in Veda's school.

Veda's brother is in love with a girl from a higher caste. But when the village head Jitendra Pratap Singh (Abhishek Banerjee) finds out about it, he insults Veda's family in front of the Panchayat. The head also kills Veda's brother.

Seeing her brother's painful death in front of her eyes, Veda is broken from within. She decides to fight against the wrong. Violence begins in the village. Veda takes refuge in Abhimanyu. How does Abhimanyu save her from that Chakravyuh? For this, you will have to watch the entire film.

How is the acting of the star cast?

John Abraham is seen doing the same kind of action in his solo hero films. Be it his film 'Rocky Handsome' or 'Romeo Akbar Walter'. He always speaks less and does more action. He has disappointed in the film. Sharvari's work is good. She is one of the best actresses of the current era. In the future, if her choice of films is good, then she can join the race for number one.

Abhishek Banerjee has done a good job, but his character does not match his personality. Ashish Vidyarthi has played the role of Jitendra Pratap Singh's uncle, but he did not get work commensurate with the kind of actor he is. Tamannaah Bhatia's cameo is good.

How is the direction of the film?

Many films have been made over the years on casteism and high and low castes. There is nothing new in this film in the name of story. The storyline of the film is weak. The first half of the film is slightly better, but the second half is very weak. Too many action scenes weaken the story. Instead of action scenes, a little more attention should have been paid to emotional scenes.

How is the music of the film?

The film's music is nothing special. Apart from 'Holi Mein Ude Re Gulaal', there is no song that is memorable. The film's background music is also ordinary.

Final Verdict, should we watch it or not?

Hundreds of films have been made on this subject so far. A boy from a lower caste falls in love with a girl from a higher caste and then a bloody game begins. Still, if you are planning to watch the film, it is your choice.
