Alia Bhatt's action thriller film 'Jigra' has been released in theaters today. Directed by Vasan Bala, this film has been produced by Alia Bhatt with Karan Johar. The length of this film is 2 hours 35 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given this film a 2 out of 5 star rating.

What is the story of the film?

The story of this film is based on the emotional relationship between brother and sister. Satya (Alia Bhatt) loves her younger brother Ankur (Vedang Raina) very much. Satya has seen his father dying in front of his eyes in his childhood. She can't see her brother in any trouble. Ankur has to go to a country called Hanshi Dao for some work. There he accidentally gets trapped in a drugs case. The law of that country is very strict, due to which Ankur is sentenced to death. Satya wants to bring her brother back safely from there at any cost. How Satya saves her brother by fighting the whole world. Who supports him in his campaign and what difficulties arise in the meantime? To know this you will have to watch the film.

How is the acting of the star cast?

In this film, Alia Bhatt is seen in the role of an angry young woman. She has brought the helplessness, helplessness, love and determination of the sister alive on screen. But looking at his character it cannot be said that he has done anything different. Before this he has been seen in a better character than this. Vedang Raina is commendable in the role of Ankur. The work of Manoj Pahwa in the role of ex-gangster and Rahul Ravindran, Akashdeep and Sheeba in supporting roles is fine.

How is the direction of the film?

The story of the film has maintained a good emotional hold in the first half. But the way the story is woven in the second half does not seem convincing. The way Satya attacks the high security jail with her colleagues and takes out her brother and his friends does not seem completely justified. The script of the second half is also scattered. Alia Bhatt's character could have been presented in a better way. Most of the dialogues in the film are in English. To understand it one has to look at the Hindi subtitles again and again.

How is the music of the film?

Apart from the song played in the background of this film, 'Tanu Sang Rakhna', there is no other song that can be remembered. Watching this film shows that Amitabh Bachchan has a lot of hangover on director Vasan. Dialogues and songs from Amitabh Bachchan's films are heard in the background. The background score is very loud.

Final Verdict, watch or not?

This film is based on brother-sister relationship. But it is not that the treatment of this film is very special. Then if you are a fan of Alia Bhatt then you can watch this film once. Otherwise, this film will be available on OTT platform in a few days.
