Monsoon enters Maharashtra between June 9 and 16; Such will be the next journey









New Delhi; News Agency: Like last year, monsoon entered Andaman-Nicobar on May 19 (Sunday) this year. Monsoon, which entered Kerala 9 days late on June 8 last year, will arrive by May 31 this year. The Indian Meteorological Department gave this information.
The normal date of arrival of monsoon in Kerala is 1 June. There is a possibility that the announced date will be more or less three-four days. Monsoon can enter Kerala anytime between 28th May to 3rd June. Further, it is likely to reach Maharashtra between June 9 and 16, Rajasthan on June 25 and Madhya Pradesh by July 6. Monsoon will reach Uttar Pradesh from June 18 to 25 and Bihar-Jharkhand from June 18.

In 2021 it was entered on 3rd June and in 2022 it was entered on 29th May.
2023 was entered in Kerala on June 8.
