Mirzapur's 'Radhiya's' real life is just opposite to her reel life: Prashasti comes from a rich family; people are surprised to hear her English

Actress Prashansa Sharma, who plays the role of Radhia in the Mirzapur series, is quite different in real life. Prashansa said that people found my character so real that they feel that I am like Radhia in reality too.

Prashansa said that she comes from a rich and prestigious family. She has been interested in acting since childhood. Apart from Mirzapur, she also played an important role in the film Bicchhoo Ka Khel. Prashansa has spoken openly to Dainik Bhaskar about the character of Radhia and her personal life.

People are surprised that I speak English
Your character seems so real that people think that you are really like Radhia? In response, she said, 'People are surprised to know that I can speak English. When people come to know that I have studied philosophy from Hindu College of Delhi University, they are even more shocked. Anyway, for me it is like a victory that I have played the character in such a way that people are finding it real.'

Prashansha was recently seen in the third season of Mirzapur.

She has been interested in acting since childhood and has also done theatre
Prashansha is originally from Jhumritilaiya in Jharkhand. She studied in a boarding school in Dehradun. After this she graduated from Hindu College. Prashansha was interested in acting since childhood. She used to do theatre since her school days. She continued doing theatre even after going to Delhi. After this she came to Mumbai. Prashansha played the role of Poonam in the film Bicchhoo Ka Khel, in which she impressed a lot.

The biggest challenge when I came to Mumbai was to make contacts
What was the biggest struggle after coming to Mumbai, did you have to face rejections? She said, 'The biggest challenge after coming to Mumbai was that I did not know anyone. I had no idea where to go, whom to meet? I had no idea about the process. As far as rejections are concerned, an actor has to face rejections. There is nothing wrong in it.'

I got rejected many times in the audition
Tell us about some good and bad experiences of your career so far? Prashansha said, 'Getting work in Mirzapur was the best experience. I got a chance to work with a lot of good actors. I made many good friends and got to learn a lot from them.

My work was appreciated, it was a good moment for me. As far as bad experiences are concerned, I gave many auditions where I could not get selected. Now it is not necessary to talk about why I could not get selected.

After the Mirzapur series, people started recognizing him
Prashansha told that after the Mirzapur series, there were many changes in her life. People started recognizing her. She got an identity, for which she had come to Mumbai. Prashansha further said, 'When I came to Mumbai, my parents must have met many people explaining why they have left their daughter so free. Today my parents must feel that their decision to send me to Mumbai was absolutely right.'
