Marathi actor Vijay Kadam passed away: breathed his last at the age of 67, was suffering from cancer; Sharad Pawar expressed condolences

Veteran Marathi actor Vijay Kadam has passed away. He breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital on the morning of August 10.

The actor was suffering from cancer for the last one and a half years. Initially, he was cured of this disease, but he fell prey to this disease again.

Vijay Kadam was a well-known personality in Marathi films, TV shows and dramas in the 80s and 90s. He was known for his comic roles in films like Chashme Badoor and Police Line.

There is only wife and one son in the family

According to reports, Vijay Kadam is survived by his wife and a son. His last rites will be performed today at Oshiwara crematorium in Andheri.

He has also worked in ad films

Vijay Kadam has also worked in many ad films in his career. A few months ago, he worked in an ad with cricketer Rishabh Pant, which became quite famous.

Vijay Kadam was last seen in the role of Baburao Tandel in Zee Marathi's show 'Ti Prat Aaliye'.
