TV actor Amit Tandon, who has acted in serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Dil Mil Gaye and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He has been away from the industry since 2018. Recently in an interview, the actor made a shocking revelation, in which he told that he had cheated on his wife Ruby several times, due to which there was a rift in their relationship.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, when Amit Tandon was asked if he had ever been unfaithful, the actor said, 'Yes, I did. What should I say now? Yes, there were moments when I was wondering how to say it respectfully, but there is no respectful way to say it. There was a time when I let my emotions take over me. Initially she (wife Ruby) did not know anything about this, but when she came to know everything, she was very broken.
Amit Tandon said, 'It creates a rift in your relationship, and sometimes it cannot be repaired. It just gets bigger and bigger. Then we thought that having a child would fix everything, but it didn't.
According to Amit Tandon, he married Ruby in 2007, and both of them separated in 2017. But in 2019, both of them again decided to improve their relationship by forgiving each other. In 2018, Ruby was arrested in Dubai for threatening some government officials. At that time, Amit had accused his Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi co-star Mouni Roy that it was because of her that Ruby got into trouble.
Amit Tandon started his acting career in 2005 with 'Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai' and later rose to fame with TV shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya'. He was last seen in the TV show 'Kasam Tere Pyar Ki'.
